Well, Atlanta has been a blast!! Been raining the whole time…but thats all good….

Went to the Aquarium and the World of Coke today and had a great lunch at Johnny Rockets.

Gonna take my son to Medievel Times on Wednesday for his birthday…that should be a blast =) Haven’t been in several years.

When it stops raining we are gonna try and get to the zoo!!

Well. I am here!! I made it alive and in one piece. The kids were great and didn’t argue to much. It rained the whole way!! That’s okay though, the week should be nice.

We are supposed to try and look at what we are doing this next week…tomorrow, along with going to the store

Guys have it so easy….Seriously.

So, I was laying in the tub last night and it got me to thinking….

So, I was sitting there letting the lavender scents fill the air, letting the hot water soak in….That’s when I realized guys have it so easy. Take a guy and a girl, and tell them they have to get ready for a big date. Guys do what…they grab a shower, throw on some cologne and deodorant, grab a nice pair of jeans and a nice shirt and shoes, and they are good to go. How easy is that? Girls on the other hand….

Most of us when we hear big date, there are key things to think about here. How long have you been in a relationship with the person your going out with, and what stage is it in? This is key and crucial to the entire process.

So we get in the shower. We have our scented soap we use, we wash and condition our hair, hopefully to prevent crazy hair. We shave everything that needs to be shaved….We get out of the shower…hair goes in one towel and dry off with the other…gotta make sure we are good and dry, then we go put lotion on all the parts you think he might touch, so it’s soft and silky, again this is related to the stage of your relationship =). We put on something easy to get over our head and go do hair, which involves…brushing out the tangles, blow drying until completely dry, some add hair products…some don’t…then curling or straightening. Then makeup…no need for details….After hair and makeup is done..then we choose what to wear. This can be a tedious and sometimes stressful process. Again based on stage of relationship. If it’s a first date, you want to wear something flirty but not to sex driven…unless you are one of ‘those’ girls…lol. If it’s not the first date or you are one of ‘those’ girls…then you go a little racier =) This can include your undergarments =D. After fretting about what you are going to wear… you make sure that before the clothes go on, the perfume does. This is tricky, you wanna hit the pulse points, but you wanna also hit the spots you think he might venture to… most cases, you have a lotion on that covers that aspect…Then to get dressed. So…after at least 2-3 hours of work a girl is ready to go. Guys….ya’ll have it sooo easy…

Happy Humpday Ya’ll!!!

Morning, Morning!! I am tired. Been working a different shift the past few days to cover for some training up here at work. i am sooo not a morning person! I have to be here at 6am…which means I have to leave my house at about 5am. Well that would be all fine and dandy if I could just go to sleep like I am supposed to. I went to bed at 10 last night, and did nothing but toss and turn until almost midnight. This 4 hours of sleep thing is killing me…but all I can do…is just roll with the flow, besides…that means I get out of here at 230 on Friday, so I can get all packed and ready to go for my trip.

Yep, it’s down to hours…almost…LOL I have two more days of work to get through…not counting today. Then I leave bright and early Saturday Well…maybe not bright…

Well, I guess I need to get back to work. Ya’ll have a good one!!

Good morning!

It’s mighty early for me

Well, here it is Tuesday and I am 3 days away from leaving on my vacation. I get to have a change of scenery, and I get to go do things I haven’t done before. The kids are excited. They are counting down the days too. I am super excited!! Yay ya’ll hear this alot…LOL..Well, that’s just me. Soooo…I am hoping the weather is somewhat nice while we are there.

I don’t really have all that much to say this morning. Kinda disturbing….in a not so disturbing way…LMAO…sorry…I am kinda tired, didn’t sleep much last night!!

All righty then, I will catch you guys on the flip side of things. Stay safe, and I will prolly be checking in periodically over the next few days!!

Evening ya’ll!

Well, this could very well be one of those midnight ramblings I am famous for. I am not sleepy, but I have to be up here is like 6 hours to take the kiddos to school. It’s become a Friday thing for me. Since I don’t see them much during the week, I get up with them on Friday mornings. I miss the little boogers.

So, on another note.. tomorrow/today is 8 days from vacation. I am sooo excited that I could scream. I have everything that is trying to fall into place for my trip. As long as the weather stays nice, and the traffic is light, and the kids mind…It should be a blast….

Has anyone ever told you something, that completely blew your mind? That happened to me over the last week. It was a huge compliment, and I was completely taken back by it. I think that I just ain’t used to compliments…LMAO.

So…I think this is more of a milder rambling. I just needed to talk for a minute.

I think I am going to try and crawl in bed and try to get some sleep. Gotta conserve cuz next weekend is gonna be to exciting…I ain’t gonna wanna sleep!!

Well, It’s sneaking up on me, although I completely expect it. Seems like just a little while ago, I was like, is it ever gonna get here…and now it’s 12…almost 11 days away.

I am sooo excited for this, but ya’ll knew that =) So…with it around the corner all kinds of things are going through my head. How will the blazer handle the trip? How will the kids do? Will they be on their best behavior? Will I survive the drive back? So many questions…and no answers…it’s like a pop quiz on trigonometry and your still doing basic math…How will you ever figure it all out?

I guess I let the Man up above and my good sensibilities show me the right way. All will be well! We will all have a blast and not drive each other crazy and we will live, laugh and learn!!

Don’t you just love the people with the ‘Holier than though’ attitude? They take this attitude and jsut shove it at you. They take this attitude and rub you the wrong way with it. That irks me! You are not superior to me. The only thing in this world superior to me is God!

Please don’t try to patronize me. Please don’t try to tell me you are just doing your job. Please don’t sit there and be all ‘superior’ with me, then turn around and act like it’s a joke.

I really am worked up about this, and I apologize, but it is very frustrating when people push it at you. It’s coming from everywhere, and I hate it. We are equals, all of us! No one of us is better than the other. No one of us is more powerful than the other. It is about equality.

I apologize ya’ll. This is a rant, and it is over for the moment. I wish that I could go into greater detail, but I can’t.

Howdy all!!

Well I made it through another Valentine’s Day….single…again….

So…what did I do? You may be asking yoursefl…well…

I got up early, and tried to get the kids moving..they were off to their Dad’s for the weekend. I got went and dropped them off on Saturday morning, then went and got Gracy’s (my blazer) new plates. Then off for a car wash play date!! I met up with a couple of friends and we washed and then did a quick detail of our cars. Then off to Grapevine for the Club meet. After the meet, some of us girls piled into my blazer and the boys piled into the Tahoe…and we went to the Dallas AutoRama. I had never been before. It was amazing how the cars that were there…sparkled like NEW!! It is great to see people that love their cars sooo much! Saw a couple of my dream cars. One was a First Gen camaro…Red/white….it was absolutley one of the most georgeous cars I saw. I took about fifty million pics of it…(insert drooling pic here) LOL Then I saw the Trans Am that I wanted…it was Red too…LOL The WS6 package…the wheels on it were pretty dang tight too… So…I looked all over for a new hat..hit several booths and just couldn’t find the one that said..”pick me pick me” So about thirty minutes before it was closing up, we went upstairs to the toy-o-rama, I was looking for a GTA for my collection at home, and that’s when I saw it. It was a pretty simple hat..but it screamed at me! It’s red with a White Chevy emblem on it, and in black it says Camaro underneath, and Chevrolet on the sides. It was perfect, and only 6 dollars…so..Win Win for me =)!! After the AutoRama, went back and hung out with friends, watched Deathrace…that was a pretty good movie, I was surprised!! So Saturday was pretty busy. Sunday, I slept in…then just vegitated. All in all a great weekend!!
