Evening all.

Laying here in bed. Feeling anxious about my trip this time. This will be the second time I have ever been away from home for more than a week .  The first time was a road trip with the kids to Yellowstone. This time I leave Mom, the kids and my fiancé at home. I know everything will be fine. I know they will miss me. I know I will miss them. It’s all the unknowns.

I don’t know why this is any different for me from any other trip. Maybe it’s just the fact that it’s two whole weeks. I don’t mind being in New York. Yeah it’s a bit scary some times. But it’s a cool place to visit.

I am going to try and go to a few places over the weekend that I haven’t been able to visit the last few times.  Weather permitting I am going to try to go to Manhattan and see the sites. I am also going to try and go to Carlo’s Bakery

I think that just keeping busy this time will make the trip a bit easier

Well y’all wish me luck. I am off to bed, I gotta be up early!
